Hermès has opened a new leather goods workshop in Loupes, Gironde in France, to expand its production capacity and strengthen its regional presence. The site will employ 260 artisans.

The Vietnam Trade Office in India held an online seminar on April 22, 2026 to boost cooperation in the leather, footwear and textile sectors between Vietnam and India.
